The Guild Wars Game Client is for use during Beta Weekend Events.

This game client will function only with a key code. You will obtain a key code in your Guild Wars Preorder Package. Key codes are also available in several of  partner publications, a list which you can find here. In addition, several websites are providing key codes through various contests, drawings, etc.

Please download this client only if you have a Guild Wars Beta Weekend Key Code. The client is the same as that used during the World Preview Event, so if you still have Guild Wars on your computer, you do not need to download again.

Installation Instructions:

1. Download the client (See Below)
2. Unzip installation file from Zip Archive
3. Run the GWSetup.exe file to and set drive and path for Guild Wars installation (Default location: "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars")
4. Upon a completed installation Guild Wars will automatically update itself and launch the login screen

The Beta Weekend Event will begin Friday morning of the designated Beta Weekend, and will end at Midnight Pacific on Sunday night of the same weekend. Input the key code as instructed when the event is live.

You may update your Guild Wars files by initializing this client on an occasional basis, at which time game assets will be streamed to your computer.
